What are good remedies for...?
Although you have cut the caffeine from your system, have you tried or considered trying Cafergot? It's ergotamine and caffeine, and some migraine sufferers find it really helps. You take it as soon as your recognize you are developing a migraine, and quite often it can stop it happening. They believe it works directly with the receptors in the brain involved with migraines. It's not a pain killer in the sense that the opiates are, and if it didn't work and you got severe migraine pain, they could still give you something stronger if the need arose. You take it as you need it, up to six times a day to control a migraine - so it's not like you'd have to have a large amount of caffeine all the time. I have also know people have given acupuncture a whirl, though I don't know if it really worked for them or not.
