Should I drain some oil out of my car?

yes. you should drain some out. too much oil puts extra pressure on the oil system and over a period of time can cause seals to leak. 3/4 of a quart isnt bad, but it still wouldnt hurt to correct this. and as an alternative to draining it out of the oil plug (messy and may drain too much) start the car for about 5 seconds, then remove the oil filter, pour the oil out of it, reinstall it, then start the car again for 10 seconds. may take 1 or two times to do it that way, but it only removes about .30 of a quart out at a time. may be a little easier for ya.
