BMW E46 Flasher unit. Flashers work but no clicking & arrows inside?

I have a 2002 330i and all of a sudden the interior clicking sound when I use the flashers is gone. Also, there's no left\right blinking arrow in the dash. Any help on this one would be appreciated! From what I've seen in other Q&As it could be the flasher unit in the fuse box? What's also weird is that the volume and channel changer controls on the steering wheel aren't working and the head unit won't change into AUX (cd changer mode)
