Why do people hate gay men so much, but gay women roam the world with no problems(Even the butches)?

Because in the past women have had more struggles for rights, and now every one is all "Women rule the world! There is nothing men can do that women cant!" I totally think men and women are equal, but because of this, everyone thinks that men are weird when they act more feminine. I've even heard someone say "You'll never be a real woman!". It's awful. And whenever anyone tries to say anything about it all the other people look at them like heartless jerks and say "Do you have any clue about the things women have been through to get their rights?"
