Why can't people mind their own business??

i got in a huge fight with my dad earlier which is just a distance memory now but it had some "f" bombs throughout during the heat of the moments but his friends are calling me a dirty because i said that out of anger in front of them...wtf.i know it was wrong and i discussed it with my dad and everythings cool now but his friends told everyone(their family, my dad's other friends, etc.) about it and now they hate me and treat me rudely....how can i POLITELY tell them to back off before i drop some "f"bombs in their face??? im not a bad person! i just swear sometimes when i get really pissed!
