Whom do Catholics believe the resurrected Jesus Christ first appeared to?

I know that the bulk of scriptural evidence -- especially in the gospels -- point to Mary Magdalene. Additional candidates are Simon Peter and James ("the brother of the Lord"), as indicated in the Pauline epistles. I was just wondering about the general consensus in the Church (sacred tradition).
