I was wondering if any one knows what the long term effects of carbon monoxide poisoning caould be?

My cousin was liveing in a home and got carbon monoxide in her system while pregnant over a year and she is ping out all the time now and haveing alot of trouble just wondered if anyone else has had this happen.
