How to develop a political ideology?

I am sick and tired of this argument between communism and capitalism. Both systems are flawed, and they both have strengths. The good thing that comes out of communism is socialism (Rights) and the good thing that comes out of Capitalism is individualism (Freedom) This bickering between two ideologies is pointless. I myself believe in Democratic Socialism, but think that it is time for a new political ideology. How can I develop my ideas, and turn them into reality, I love all humans, and want to better our governemnt, make a government that actually helps the people, a governement that allows both the rights of socialism and the freedom of capitalism. Communism in my mind represents true manhood, respect for his fellow man, but I don't believe it works as a government system. Since everyone has they're own opinions, why don't we just mix all the positive aspects of both communism, democracy, socialism and capitalism, and create an all lasting system that incorporates both opinions, compromising human opinion and nature! How can I develop it? Do I write a book? Help Please, and suggestions?
